Show the lowest pre-sale price on WooCommerce

The EU Omnibus directive asks shops to show the lowest price of the 30 days before a price cut. This guide shows how to record that history and display the reference on WooCommerce.
What you need
- A WooCommerce store with admin access.
- 30 days of price history before your first annotated sale. Prices from before you start recording cannot be rebuilt.
Steps
- Record every price change. Install a tool that stores the price each time a product or variation changes. Keep simple products and variations in separate histories.
- Wait for a full window. A sale that starts before 30 days of recording has no valid reference. Flag these sales in the admin instead of guessing.
- Compute the lowest price. When a sale starts with complete history, take the lowest recorded price of the previous 30 days, sale prices excluded from the reference itself.
- Show the notice under the product. Display one line such as "Lowest price in the last 30 days: €80." Keep the wording short and put it next to the sale price.
- Export proof. Keep the full history exportable as CSV. If prices are ever inspected, the file is your evidence.
Expected result
Each sale with complete history shows its lowest pre-sale price. Sales without history are listed for review and show no automatic notice.
